Dear Student, If you belong to the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category, your EWS rank will also be considered during the CSAB rounds of counseling, in addition to your Common Rank List (CRL) rank. Hence, your EWS category rank will play a role in the counseling process.

Here's the eligibility for SC (Scheduled Caste) female students to apply for JoSAA counseling:They need to have passed their 12th-grade exams with 65% marks and a good score in the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams. There's no age restriction; anyone who meets the educational requirements can apply.SC female candidates might have some relaxation in terms of score requirements compared to others, but the specific rules can differ between colleges.

You need not worry. It's clearly written in JOSAA that:"If you do not lock your choices, last saved choices will be locked automatically upon reaching the deadline for choice filling. The automatically locked choice list will be considered for allocating a seat during JoSAA."
