Is one supposed to apply on both the platforms? The basic difference is that once JoSAA completes its process of admissions for IITs, NITs and other colleges, CSAB conducts some special rounds (generally 2 rounds) to fill up the vacant seats of NITs, IIITs and other colleges (not for IITs).

Hello aspirant,Congratulations for getting such pretty rank in JEE Mains 2020. According to last some years cut offs sorry to say but you have very less chances of getting admission into any GFIT. But yes, you have good chances of getting admission into the good government college so I refer you to go through the state counselling process which will help you in getting admission into the government colleges. Hello Indra, yes as you have said, your ranking in JEE Mains is a bit on the lower side. This may cause some problems in getting admission in premier NIT. But help is at hand.
