As a friend I would suggest you to first complete your BCA as you have already dedicated your 1 valuable year to it. Also, there are very few good institutes offering a Journalism course at Bachelor level. Keeping in mind your keen interest towards Journalism, I would suggest you to pursue a part time Certificate course in Journalism and after completing your BCA you can opt for a full time PG in Journalism or Mass Comm. Till that time to enhance Journalistic skills you can try Citizens Journalism. Journalism as a career is very challenging and requires a lot of hard work and patience. To become a good journalist you need to have a good command over English, Hindi and your regional language. Apart from good English you also have to be a good listener and an interpreter, so that you are able to convey exactly what is important for the people and how will it effect them. The eligibility for MA (journalism and Mass Communication) Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent.
