Dear Nischita,
Typically, the basic eligibility for pursuing a B.A. (Hons) Journalism course is 10+2 qualification. The student should have qualified senior secondary with a minimum of at least 50% marks. Some institutes even conduct entrance tests for this course. Students whose 12th results have been declared or who are awaiting their results can fill the application forms for the course. Hi,
Yes, you are eligible for Bachelors degree of mass communication and journalism.
The college should be chosen with care because your degree needs a wide platform and exposure.LPU is a college I know which gives work experience in the college to its students and the links it has, gives good placements too. Similarly is St Xavier's Bombay which gives wide opportunities to its students.So check the academic excellence of the college as well as the scholarship slabs it offers and choose your college.

You have not write about the course level. However, B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) of three years duration can be done after 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks with English. While the M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) of two years of duration can be done after the Graduation with minimum 50% of marks. Therefore, you can do B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) course on the basis of your 12th score.

As per your search on Shiksha, the fee structure of any college/university cannot be given without knowing the complete details.
*I have no direct association with education, one of my friend recently took admission in BA In Journalism in LPU, and lives in LPU hostel with the help of my friend I jotted certain facts those will help you decide better.

M.A. Journalism needs a really good faculty but this is not enough. The college from you pursue your degree has a lot to do for shaping your career. It is not only in giving placements but a lot more. The university right from the campus prepares you for jobs of journalism from the campus itself.
