As you have completed your graduation so you are eligible to take admission in any of the Master's degree courses related to journalism and mass communication, but I think that most of the institutions have completed the admission process, still if you want to get admission, you can contact some universities and colleges who are still offering admissions. Private universities do have extended dates. Do this degree from a good place so that the actual career-oriented skills are imparted. Mass Communication is a varied and vast field of study. You can target to do a Bachelor's degree means, BMC/BJMC from any reputed college or university. If you want to get into anchoring and that too News anchoring, you must be at a place, where you get richness of learning and knowledge. JNU or Jamia Milia Islamia, or Symbiosis in private are good names. Delhi University has also started it's Mass Communication. Be prepared to Enhance your Political and Social Awareness. Amity University-Noida is also a good institution.

Hi Vikram!
There are many government universities that offer MA in mass communications. But those offering bachelors courses are very limited. Personally, I would recommend Delhi University and Jamia Milia Islamia University.

The set of questions will majorly consist of aptitude based questions like basic maths, reasoning, English language, general knowledge and subject-based knowledge. You can pick up any Mass Communication preparation book for practice. My personal suggestion would be Arihant Publications and Kewal J Kumar.

Hi Ash, the syllabus of IIMC entrance examination includes everything general and political. If I have to break it down and give you few generic examples, then I would say, general awareness, basic understanding about the social dynamics, awareness about all economic and social issues, knowledge about international affairs and how the power dynamic of the world works, the impact of the said power dynamics on India etc. Apart from these, they also look for your language capabilities, comprehension skills, analytic skills and a little bit of aptitude.
