Having completed my Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication and MA in Mass comm from two of the leading universities of West Bengal, Calcutta and Jadavpur respectively, I can tell you this - it's all worth it.
But education is just ONE side of the coin. Hard work pays off. I wanted to focus on a career in Corporate Communications initially, but that's when the social media scene in India picked up and I lapped it up. Many of my fellow classmates are into hardcore journalism. They did their initial 2-year struggle and now they are properly placed in their career.

Minimum marks required for applying for the BSc hons in Mass Communication and Videography in SXCKOL is 60%. So for that, you are not eligible.
All the best.

Hi Reyan,
Both the institutes are good in their own ways. But considering your choice, Journalism, I would suggest AAFT. They have BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, which is more journalism centric.
Whereas the course SXCKOL offers is mass communication-centric and journalism, as you know, is a part of mass communication.
I would suggest you visit the websites of the institues and look at the syllabus. Then you decide.
All the best.
