Hi Namita,
If I compare to last year, there are chances to edge for getting admission. If you belong to any category other than general, you are surely getting into DU for journalism. However, do not lose hope. You have chances and that's enough of a motivation for you to give it a shot. Try for Maharaja Agrasen or BRAC.
All the best.

I think no, because the basic eligibility for admission to an MA Programme in Journalism is a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and/or Mass Communication with a minimum of 50% marks. Certain universities may admit students from other streams as well, but it is completely a university discretion.

In my opinion, it is a little bit tough but it also depends on your college. You can consult with your college authority about it.

Hi Durga,
There is no course in India such as investigative journalism. You can pursue a degree course in journalism or mass communication, which is generally a 3-year course. After completing the course successfully, you can apply for an internship in a news organisation and work with the crime and politics beat to understand the industry and have an experience of what it is all about. After that, you can apply for jobs in the same beat in news organisations.
