A BA in journalism from the Indian Institute of Journalism offers expanding opportunities. However, for strong placement prospects and job opportunities post graduation, opting for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is advisable. These fields open doors to leading IT companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, CapGemini, with the caveat that your skills and choice of college also significantly impact your career trajectory.

Both the college are the best for journalism in Ahmedabad. In my opinion NIMCJ is the better one. As NIMCJ ranked under 15 Mass communication college in India. Also NIMCJ provide 100%placement.Students are placed immediately after the completion of the course. NIMCJ is the go - to place for media student.

See the Eligibility – 10+2 pass out with 50% in any stream, 12th class appearing students may also apply. You can get a decent college with your excellent academic performance but I would rather suggest you to go for competitive exams.
