Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, which is, to have a valid BA/or equivalent degree from a recognised university can apply. Further, after the conclusion of the application process, PTU shortlists students and calls them for the personal interview round. Based on the performance in the interview, students are admitted to the course.

According to Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the authority for NEET counselling, certificates issued by the competent authority on standard format, should be in English or Hindi language. Some of the states insist for certificate in English language only. Candidates are advised to carry certified  (attested) Copy of English version of the original certificate, in case certificateissued is in other than English language, along with original certificate.
