Hi there, I hope you are doing well. I feel you first need to calm yourself. Whatever happened is not a big deal. It happens with many people and you are one amongst them. You need not worry at all. I suggest you to reappear in boards to clear your subject. Just a passing marks will be enough to proceed further. There are number of good colleges and universities which gives admission in just 50%. You already fit in this criteria all you need is calming yourself to re-appear for clearing your maths.

Hi Vaishali!
To become a Journalist, You should pursue BA in Journalism or Mass Communication (BJMC/ BMM) . Pursuing B.Sc in Mass Communication will also make you a well qualified professional as B.Sc gives you a leverage to work in a research and education institute. You can even become a teacher at a Mass Communication college with B.Sc degree.
If you want to pursue the course within Kanpur city itself, then yes JIMMS is a good option. Else, there are other great colleges across India that offer mass communication at UG level https://www.shiksha.com/mass-communication-media/articles/top-10-mass-communication-colleges-in-india-blogId-1

Hi Dipanshu!
To become an anchor, you do not need any educational qualification as such. It is a talent-based profession, it requires a good command over language and a sense of humour. An anchor must maintain wit and humour at all times to make up for any slip of tongue that they may make. It is of utmost importance to have good communication skills and fluent language. In order to become a reporter, you need to have a journalism degree or Diploma because the news channels hire only professionals with media related education background.

Hi Aayush,The career as a travel journalist is full of adventure and fun. But unfortunately there is no specific course for travel journalism in India. You can study Journalism at UG/PG level and look for jobs in travel sector or journals as a writer or a photographer, whichever interests you. You can apply for jobs in travel magazines and travel websites, once you are a graduate. You can also take up internships in travel sector to have maximum exposure.
