Yes, the university accepts JEE Main score. However, the university conducts an entrance exam-KUEE for candidates who does not hold JEE Main score. Kalasalingam University also considers the eligibility of the aspirants for final admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

The university offers over 30 courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels through nine schools, namely Kalasalingam School of Architecture (KSoA), Kalasalingam School of Agriculture & Horticulture (KSAH), School of Mechanical, Aero, Auto and Civil Engineering (SMACE), School of Computing (SoC), etc. The courses, include BTech, MTech, MBA, BSc, MSc, BArch, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 can apply for UG courses and graduation for PG courses.
