For the academic year 2023–2024, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has made available the seat distribution for MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota. There are 5513 seats available in total for MBBS admissions under this quota. Of these, 330 seats are designated for MBBS Minority Colleges, 203 seats for MBBS EWS Quota, and 4980 seats for MBBS (PWD, CAP, PMC, and SCCL) Quota. This year's MBBS admission seat distribution is divided into several categories, according to KNRUHS, including MBBS PWD, CAP, PMC, SCCL, EWS Quota, and Minority Colleges. The MBBS (PWD, CAP, PMC, and SCCL) quota receives the most seats, followed by the EWS and minority institutions.

The public state institution known as Kaloji Narayana Rao Institution of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) was founded in Warangal, Telangana, in 2014. The Medical Council of India (MCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) both acknowledge Kaloji University. There are more than 160 connected government and private colleges with Kaloji Narayana Rao University. The selection procedure for Kaloji narayana rao University is based on online application.  The applicant must meet with their education qualification.The education qualification are as follows. Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc., (Nursing) 4 YDC Course should have passed 2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) with 45% aggregate of marks in Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) and English is compulsory subject in 10+2. Or b. Any other examination of (10 + 2 pattern) from recognised Board under AISSCE / CBSE/ ICSE / SSCE / HSCE / NIOS / TOSS of other equivalent Board with Biology, Physics and Chemistry recognised as equivalent by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana state. Or Intermediate (10+2) Vocational with Bridge course with Biology and Physical Sciences. c. Those who belong to SC/ST and BC categories are eligible with 40% aggregate marks in the Science group subjects (Biology and Physical Sciences). English is compulsory subject as per the norms of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi vide letter No.F.No.1-2/2014-INC and vide circular No.F.No.1-6/2016 –INC Dated:21-09-2016. d. Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board or an institution outside the State should produce a certificate of equivalence from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana, Hyderabad to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana of BPC group.
