The placements achieved at Kalpataru Institute of Technology (KIT) Tiptur so far have been quite average, though the trend has been slightly better in the field of engineering. The B.E./B.Tech tuition fee details as per admissions are also different as per the table of Kalpataru Institute of Technology, Tiptur. The total fees starting from the CET route cost approximately INR 1,07,625 per year and through the COMED-K route around INR 2,07,906. Management quota fees are INR 65000 for branches such as Mechanical Engineering and INR 2,00,000 for Computer Science and Engineering. Also, There are separate hostels for boys & girls managed by the college having annual charges are of Rs. 26000 refundable caution money.

Admissions to the B.E./B.Tech programme in KIT Tiptur requires the candidate to have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent examination) with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology as optional subjects. They require overall passing marks of forty five percent in these subjects, while 40 percent for the reserved categories. It’s mostly through the entrance test known as Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or through COMEDK UGET and then through counselling for students where they are alloted their seats according to their ranks as well as their category.

Kalpataru Institute of Technology (KIT) at Tiptur is moderate rated, especially in the fields of engineering. It was founded in 1986 and offer under graduate and post graduate programs in various facilities of engineering. The institute at the time of this writing has facilities such as functional lab, class and library setting, and while it may not boast of modern facility as compared to other more established institutes.
