Having the degree of BBA from Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) you will be provided many placements in different cities of India. As far as placements are concerned, KIT is pretty average with every year, up to 70 percent to 80 percent of students being placed. The estimated salary package for the BBA students has been INR 3- 4 Lacs per annum and the maximum package being offered up to INR 6- 7 Lacs per annum. Employment partners of KIT include TCS, Wipro, HDFC Bank among others through mass communication. Although a good number of placements occur in Kanpur and other nearby areas such as Lucknow and Allahabadstill, about 30-40% students get placed in other places like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore etc.

To help students with their financial needs, Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) provides a range of scholarships. Although the institute promotes 100% full scholarships for qualified applicants, these full scholarships are scarce and usually given out according to predetermined standards like academic distinction, admission exam results, or creative technical concepts. Candidates that perform exceptionally well in the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and JEE (Main) ranks, for example, may be eligible for significant fee waivers. Government scholarships such as the AICTE Pragati and Swanath Scholarship Schemes are also made possible by KIT.

To be eligible for BSc programmes at KIT Kanpur, DAV College Kanpur, and MPGI, candidates must have completed their Class 12 in the Science stream with at least an aggregate of 50 to 60%. Only MPGI BSc admissions are based on counselling after qualification for the entrance test. The other two colleges, KIT Kanpur and DAV Kanpur admit students based on their merit as evaluated by their Class 12 scores. Admission to the MPGI BSc programme can be slightly difficult, but students who adequately prepare can easily get admission into any of the institute's BSc courses.
