Distance learning B.Tech courses are not recognized by MHRD, DEC and AICTE. Hence never do such type of courses if offered by some institutes. In my opinion, you should go with lateral entry B.Tech regular courses offered by some reputed institutions like Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Delhi Technological University, Punjab University, etc.

Yes, you can get admission in the college mentioned by you for B Tech.
You will get lateral entry i.e. direct admission in second year, as you have completed your Diploma. Just see which entrance exam, you have to appear for taking admission in college and whether you clear the eligibility criteria of the college.

Associate programs in this field are typically offered through community colleges, although some four-year institutions also have biomedical engineering technology options at this level. It

Hello Arun,
My strong advise is not to even think of distance education program for doing engineering. Recently, it has been declared illegal by SC. You can think of doing AMIE instead.
