Search college for event management and apply for admission. First of all, you should have to choose city in which you want to do Diploma in event management. So, decide the city and ask questions for college of that city.

You have an option of doing B.Tech through distance. Else, you have to leave your job as there are lots of things to do in B.Tech so you will not get time to manage all the things.

Hello Asha,
Let me first say congratulations to you for deciding to pursue graduation in engineering after your diploma. But let me caution you. Supreme court of India had cancelled all engineering degrees obtained via distance education mode. You can seek lateral admission or can think of doing AMIE which is equivalent to engineering degree.

Hello Khateeb,
Last year, Supreme Court of India cancelled all the engineering degrees given out by distance education institutes. Hence today to pursue engineering again in distance education mode is like playing with fire. My sincere advise is not to go for this and look for some other avenue of education.

If you have completed your Diploma in mechanical then you can't do B.Tech but you can complete your AMIE IEI. With this AMIE, you can pursue a Bachelors in engineering which is equivalent and get a civil engineering degree.
