The Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) Bangalore is known for its research and academic programs in astronomy and astrophysics, and is considered to be well-regarded for its industry relevance. The yearly intake in the scholarship programme is of about 10 students who get scholarships in achiever or scholar programme offered by this college to the intelligent or meritorious students .

Since Manipal School of Allied Health Sciences is a well-reputed college and its cutoff goes higher up to about 90 percent or higher. And the last rank to get admission in B.Sc course is about 35 thousand. So to gain admission in Manipal School of Allied Health Science students have to score good marks in the entrance exam conducted by the state level or the exam conducted by Manipal itself to give admission to the BSc course itself.
