KARTET Pattern

KARTET Paper 2 also consists of 5 sections, but the content of these sections is different from that of Paper 1. The sections in KARTET Paper 2 are:Child Development and Pedagogy: This section is similar to the one in Paper 1, but the questions are designed to test the candidates' understanding of the educational psychology and teaching methodologies for students in the age group of 11-14 years.Language 1: This section is also similar to the one in Paper 1, but the questions are designed to test the candidates' proficiency in the language for students in the age group of 11-14 years.Language 2: This section is similar to the one in Paper 1, but the questions are designed to test the candidates' proficiency in the English language for students in the age group of 11-14 years.Mathematics and Science: This section tests the candidates' knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts, as well as their understanding of basic concepts in Science subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc.Social Studies/Social Science: This section tests the candidates' knowledge of social studies and social Science subjects, including history, geography, civics, and economics.Each section carries equal weightage, and candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the KARTET exam. The exam is conducted fora duration of 2.5 hours, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
