Yes, the KARTET exam is conducted on a single day but in two different shifts. The details of the KARTET exam shifts has been given below for the candidates:Shift 1 is conducted from 10:00 am-12:30 pm for KARTET Paper 1Shift 2 is conducted from 2:30-5:00 pm for KARTET Paper 2However, the shift timing can be changed by the board. In the KARTET exam, papers 1 and 2 contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each. Paper 1 comprises 5 sections i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Paper 2 comprises 4 sections with a choice in the fourth one i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, and Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. KARTET Marking Scheme: 1 mark is allotted for every correct answer and there is no negative marking in the KARTET exam.
