KIT Varanasi BTech cut-off is released in the form of the closing rank in JEE Main. Candidates with a rank less than the closing rank so released are eligible to get admission to the BTech courses offered at KIT Varanasi. Based on the latest cut-off information, getting admission to a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive in 2024. The closing rank for admission to BTech in CSE at the institute in the last round was 1141942, which is the least among all other specialisation/branches. However, the counselling process is currently ongoing and more cut-off lists may be released.

BTech fee at KIT Varanasi ranges from INR 3.2 Lacs to INR 4.8 Lacs for four years. The exact amount depends upon the specialisation chosen by the candidates. The KIT fee for the lateral entry BTech programmes ranges between INR 2.4 Lacs and INR 3.6 lakh. It must be noted that the mentioned fee has been calculated based on the annual fees available on the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative. Additionally, candidates seeking accomodation at the institute must pay the hostel fee which ranges from INR 50,000 to INR 82,000.

Yes, BTech or Bachelor of Technology is available at Kashi Institute of Technology (KIT). The UG-level programme is offered in the full-time mode. The duration of the programme is four years. It is offered in affiliation with AKTU. The BTech specialisations/branches offered at the institute include Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. Admission to the porgramme is provided based on JEE Main rank and seats are allotted through the common counselling conducted by AKTU for all its affiliated colleges, i.e UPTAC.
