The process followed by the university for the conversion of grade points into the percentage of marks is simply obtained by multiplying the former by 10. For example, a grade point average of 9.15 means a percentage of 91.5.

Candidates need to download their admit card from official website of Kashmir University by entering the application form number. Candidates without admit card, might not be allowed to appear for the test.

For PG admissions, GPAT, GATE, CMAT scores are considered for admissions. Additionally, admission to various UG courses is merit-based. For BTech admissions, JEE Main and JKCET scores are considered for shortlisting the students.

The application form can be downloaded from the official website (kashmiruniversity.net) and submitted at the admission office. Candidates must check eligibility before the form filling. Further, applicants have to pay the registration fee for submitting the application successfully.

For courses like MBA, M Pharma, BTech and MTech, you have to submit your CMAT, GPAT, JEE Mains and GATE scores. For other courses you have to give a separate entrance exam conducted by the University and based on your merit you will get admission.
