KCET 2025 syllabus is designed based on the first and second-year Pre-University Course (PUC) syllabi, that are followed for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, and Kannada for a few candidates. Each of the subjects has key topics including mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics in Physics; physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry in Chemistry; algebra, calculus, and statistics in Mathematics; and botany and zoology in Biology. KCET syllabus is prescribed by KEA keeping the level of candidates in the focus. KCET syllabus 2024 encompasses chapters and topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology from PUC-I and PUC-II (Class 11 and Class 12) as specified by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State. The KCET and JEE Main syllabus are more or less similar. Applicants can take the KCET since majority of the questions are the same as those in JEE Main. But KCET training by itself is insufficient to succeed in JEE Main. The primary JEE questions will be more conceptual, therefore getting ready is crucial.
