To get a rank below 5000, candidates must obtain above 90% aggregate in the Board exams and 120+ marks in KCET. A score of 299/300 in PCM is considered good to reach the rank in KCET. KCET exam is conducted for a total of 180 marks. candidates are required to qualify for the KCET cutoff 2024 in order to qualify the exam. KEA releases the KCET eligibility criteria in the official notification. Applicants ate advised to go through the KCET eligibility before filling the application form. To apply for KCET exam, candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam in all the subjects (45% for reserved category)

KCET is not a requirement for getting admission in the MCA provided by Gulbarga University. Though merit forms the crux of admission, other entrance tests like PGCET, which is conducted for Karnataka, are considered as well. Always make sure that you refer to the latest admission guidelines and requirements published by Gulbarga University so that you are well-equipped with accurate and timely information on how to apply.

Yes, you can join KBNU for BE in Computer Science and Engineering as 50% of seats are allotted through KCET and the other 50% through the KBNU entrance exam only. The CSE branch is good. You must have 45% in class 12th if you're general category or 40% if you're sc/st category.

Yes, there are possibilities to get a seat in the 2nd round of counselling. And don't loose hope, if you aren't alloted a seat in 2nd round, I'd suggest you to participate in 3rd round as there strong chances of getting a seat during the 3rd round of counselling.
