your rank must be minimum below 1500 in KCET to grab a seat in aeronautical engineering for CET fees which is around 50,000/- per year. All the best. Feel free to clarify any query.

KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test, a competitive exam comprising of physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, etc. To get into engineering, one needs to qualify PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and for other courses, PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Hi Aryan!
It will be very difficult for you to get admission without giving KCET. You may be required to pay donations as only option available for you will be management quota. So, to be in the safer side apply for KCET exam.

For RVCE, you have to give COMEDK, and try to score rank under 5k. You can also take direct admission through management quota.

No, it will give you an idea about the pattern of exam and questions. But as GATE exams don't repeat questions you need to practice maximum questions as possible. The success of GATE exam purely depends on the clarity of your concepts. If you are well-equipped with the concepts, you can score maximum.
