There are some chances you will get admission but you will get branches like civil or mechanical engineering.
However, you can upgrade your branch in the second year by scoring good marks in your 1st year.

Hi there,
If you are not from Karnataka than you can't apply for KCET as KCET needs Karnataka domicile but yes you can obviously give COMEDK, so if you are not from Karnataka than COMEDK is the only option & if you are from Karnataka than KCET is a better option.

Hi, The KCET 2018 Counselling is set to commence from June 12. KEA will begin with the choice filling and registration process of KCET 2018 Counselling. The exam counselling comprises the process of document verification and seat allotment. Only the candidates with their names in the merit list released along with the results will be able to participate in the document verification and seat allotment process. Hi there,
Congratulations on getting a good score in Intermediate. Anyone with Indian Nationality can apply for COMEDK and get a seat in the engineering colleges. But, you will be considered as General category student even if you are from reserved category. You can't appear for KCET, as it requires Karnataka domicile.

COMEDK stands for consortium of Medical Engineering & Dental examination Karnataka, while KCET is Karnataka combined entrance test. KCET is for government colleges, as well as private colleges while COMEDK is only for private colleges throughout Karnataka. KCET is organized by government organization, while COMEDK is organised by private organization.
