In order to get admission in top colleges, try to score more than 120 in NATA entrance exam. So, you can try in a good college, because you might get top college.

According to the last year's cut-off, the cut-off for mechanical branch (with closing rank was) 7092 through KCET.
So, it is less likely, still you will have hope.

Just refer the engineering cutoff of last year from KEA website and GET an idea, But w. r. t colleges inside Bangalore there is no limit, for Top ranked and for top courses for general merit, any ranking upto 5000 is preferred, but for general colleges in Bangalore even upto 30,000 rank for general merit is okay. But do note, just by doing plain BE course in any or even in reputed college alone will not make your career good, you will have to improve your biodata, by adding some more extra skills related to your professional course, by attending outside college also some more professional short term courses.
