You need to write KCET for getting rank with the help of the NATA score. If you nly write NATA and get qualified you can come through management quota.

KCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria related to Mother Tongue of Candidates who have studied for complete 10 academic years in Kannada language from 1st to 10th standard outside Karnataka need not to appear for the Kannada Language Test conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Such candidates must have studied and passed the qualifying exam from any recognised educational institution. Candidates whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu or Kodava must have resided and studied for a duration of 7 years between 1st and 12th standards in disputed Kannada speaking area of South Solapur or Akkalkot or Jath or Gadhinglaj Talks of Maharashtra

No, only those students who have cleared their SSC (Class 10) or HSC (Class 12) exams from Karnataka are eligible to appear for the KCET exams. Other top national level medical entrance exams you can apply to are as follows:
1) NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate)
2) AIIMS MBBS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Entrance Examination)
3) PGIMER Entrance Exam (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Entrance Exam)
4) CMC Vellore PG (CMC Vellore PG Entrance Exam)
5) COMEDK PG Medical Admissions (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Post Graduate Medical Admis

Sorry to say that, you cannot apply for KCET examination being from another state as the eligibility criteria specify that any candidate wishes to appear for the entrance examination should have studied and passed in one or more government or government recognised institutions in the state of Karnataka for a minimum period of seven years. Therefore, if you fulfil the above-mentioned criteria, you can surely apply and if not, then I am sorry you cannot appear for this exam.
