The syllabus of KEAM is prescribed by CEE Kerala. The KEAM syllabus comprises all three subjects Physics Chemistry & Mathematics. KEAM syllabus is based on class 11 and 12 examinations. The weightage of the subjects in KEAM will be 5:3:2 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

According to the data provided in the survey, the CEM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) exam will be conducted in online CBT (computer based test) format from 2024 onwards. The highlights are: The KEAM exam will no longer be an offline exam, but will be conducted online in a computer-based exam format. The test will not be conducted on personal computers at home but in multiple groups in testing centers set up to facilitate online testing.
