Admission to MS coursse at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences is completely entrance-based. The college offers MS course across four specialisations, namely Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedics and OBG. Candidates who have a UG degree of MBBS from a Medical College affiliated to any university are eligible to apply for this course. Futher, eligible candidates are required to qualify for NEET PG entrance exam with a valid score. The final seat allotment for the selected candidates is done through KEA Counselling process. To be eligible to apply for admission to MD at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, candidates must meed the eligibility requirements of the course. In order to get admission to MD course, candidates must hold a MBBS degree from a Medical College affiliated to any university & recognised by the MCI. As per the official website Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences accepts a valid score of NEET UG. However, the college's website also mentions about the KCET/ COMED-K entrance exams. To be eligible to appear for these entrance exams, canidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate in Science stream.
