Each exam of Kerala DHSE will be conducted for a duration of 2 to 2.5 hours in offline mode. The examination of every subject has three components, i.e. terminal examination (TE), continuous examination (CE) and practical examination (PE). A candidate will be required to secure a grade of D+ or above, with a minimum of 30% aggregate score in CE, PE, and TE, when taken together, and at least 30% in TE separately, to pass any subject. It is very important that students should understand the Kerala 12th syllabus and pattern and start preparing for the board exam accordingly.

Unfortunately in such a scenario, candidates will have to repeat the year and take the Kerala 12th exam next year. In the meanwhile, they must analyse their weaknesses and rebuild their preparation strategy so that they can pass the exam with satisfactory marks. They have to work hard and prepare well for the exam. They can also join any tuition centres for the supplementary exam preparation. They are advised to make a proper time table and learn accordingly.
