Calicut University campus is located at Tenhipalam, 24 km south of the city of Kozhikode. The nearest railway station is Parappanangadi which is 12 km away from the Campus. Local bus facility is available from railway station to Calicut University Bus Stop. Also, Feroke railway station is located at a distance of 13 km from University campus. Both the stations are in the Shoranur-Mangalore route. The closest major airport to University of Calicut is Calicut International Airport (CCJ / VOCL). This airport is in Kozhikode, India and is 11 km from the center of University of Calicut.

Amrita School of Arts and Sciences (ASAS) in Kochi, Kerala and the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) in Delhi are both good for teaching. However, ASAS may be better for placements. Teaching: Some say that UCMS has better academics and more rigorous testing schedules. Placements: ASAS may be better for placements. ASAS Kochi and UCMS Delhi are both good for teaching.
