IIIT Kottayam offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs in various disciplines related to information technology. The institute currently offers B.Tech. Programs in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), specialisation of Artificial intelligence and data Science and cyber security with seperate branches and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). IIIT Kottayam also offers M.Tech programme for working professional. IIIT kottayam has the highest number of M.Tech working professional students among all the colleges in India.

Fee varies from semester to semester. For all the eight semesters tuition fee is same and I will be around 105000. Hostel and mess fee starts at 45000 in the first semester and they increase about 5000 per year. Along with these there are Rs. 950 towards medical insurance, Rs. 10000 towards caution deposit, Rs. 750 towards sports fee & Rs. 750 towards mess fee. The fee is same for all students irrespective of branches. The fee details may change from time to time it is advisable to visit IIIT Kottayam website regularly.

Yes, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam follows the reservation policy as mandated by the Government of India. The reservation policy ensures representation and opportunities for students from various categories based on social and economic considerations. Reservation are available for Economically weaker section students. SC/ST and OBC students. IIIT Kottayam provides hostel for both boys and girls inside the campus. The hostel is good, the infrastructure is well maintained, and the rooms are clean and well ventilated. The hostel wardens and staff work extremely hard to keep the hostel in order. The hostel mess food is of good quality, and it is prepared in a clean environment. The hostel also provides us with water and electricity 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Every room has internet access through LAN. IIIT Kottayam usually admits students based on national-level entrance exams such as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The counselling process for B, Tech admissions is done by JOSAA and CSAB for Indian citizens and through DASA for foreigners. The cutoff ranks for CSE in JOSAA starts at around 12000 and ends at 35000 in round-6. It may increase in the case of ECE. Inn CSAB round-2 this may go down to 60000 for general category students.
