Generally, any Bachelor of Engineering in India will span a duration of 4 full academic years which will include 8 semesters i.e; 2 semesters each year at the end of which an university theory cum practical examination for the respective subjects will be conducted. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. Till now I think IIIT DHARWAD is best as it's construction started for own campus and Sudha Murty is also present in Board of Governors. Pune comes after that, then Sri City, Nagpur,Kottayam and at last Kurnool.
