IHM-Pondicherry is a government-affiliated college and gets most of its funding and other assistance directly from the ministry, whereas, MCC is a private college. In terms of facilities, I would say MCC is better, but MCC campus is in the forest area and is isolated.

Candidates belonging from General category need to remit Rs.600 and the ones belonging to SC/ST category need to remit a sum of Rs.300 and the ones belonging from socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) need to remit a fee of Rs.600.
