 The College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences under Kerala Veterinary and Animal Science University (KVASU) located in Pookode, Wayanad, is one of the prominent colleges in Kerala offering higher education, research, and extension services in Veterinary and Animal Sciences. KVASU has three faculty members housing eight constituent colleges that offer ten UG, PG, doctoral degree programmes, diplomas, PG diplomas, and certificate courses. Candidates seeking admission at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University must meet the course-specific eligibility set by the university. For B.Tech, candidate must have appeared for entrance exams such as KEAM or ICAR AIEEA. The merit list is based upon the scores of the given entrance exams. Candidates who have passed in the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or examinations recognised equivalent thereto and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects are eligible for admission in Bachelor of Veterinary Science.
