The Central University of Kerala - Trivandrum Campus offers the B.Ed programme to students who should apply through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG). Applicants must have passed their Bachelor's degree in any field with not less than 50% aggregate from a university or college. The fee refund policy followed is the one implemented by the University of Kerala, where in case of admission withdrawal, the full fees can be refunded with prior notice of 15 or more days before the closing date of admission, the fee refund would be for 100%. And within less than 15 days of the closing date for admission, a fee refund of 90% shall be allowed.

As per Kerala University rules, an individual registered multiple times cannot change his BA Arabic exam center once selected, as the "change of exam centre" option is rarely available to registered individuals. The course fee for the Kerala University is comparatively affordable. For the BTech course, the fee ranges between INR 45 K and INR 3 lakh. On the other hand, for the MTech and MBA courses, the fees ranges between 53 K and 8 lakh,  respectively. Kerala University fee structure is a combination of a number of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all the fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time by Kerala University.

Kerala University is ranked 9th by NIRF 2024 under the State Public University category, 21st by NIRF 2024 under the University category,  and 38th by NIRF 2024 under the Overall category. At the undergraduate level, the Kerala University offers BTech courses to students. BTech students are placed in top companies at top positions. Kerala University releases the provisional rank lists considering the marks secured by the candidates in their respective qualifying exams and entrance exam scores required for that particular programme. Kerala University accepts the score of KMAT KERALA,  CMAT,  CAT,  MAT,  KMAT, and KEAM for admission to various UG and PG programmes. To appear in an entrance exam candidates need to meet the respective eligibility criteria to apply for any of the programmes.
