The Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) offers Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) program, which is a five-year undergraduate degree course. The university has an annual intake of 150 students for the BVSc and AH program. The admission to the programme is through the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) centralized entrance examination, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University accepts ICAR AIEEA for admission to MVSC. The cutoff to MVSC is subject to change annually. However, the eligibility for the M.V. Sc. Programme is Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry recognised by the University with an CGPA of 6.0/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of 50% marks in traditional system. Itis advisable to check the cutoff marks for MVSC at its official website.

HI NISHAR AHMEDAccording to a review, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) is a good college for studies but not for placements.  However, another source says that the college offers placement assistance to students.  In 2022, the median package offered during KVASU PG 2-year placements was INR 5.60 LPA. In 2021, 43 out of 90 students were placed during KVASU UG 4-year placements.

To gain entry into a BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) course at top veterinary colleges in India, candidates must clear the NEET 2023 cutoff for veterinary. The cutoff for general category students is 720-137 marks, and 136-107 for reserved category candidates.

It is a good college for studies but not in terms of placements.Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college were Amarai, Milky Mist, Milma, etc. Roles offered were technical superintendent, quality analyst, etc. About 10% of the students got internships, and internships are mandatory here. Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, and there were almost all labs like microbiology, computer lab, chemistry and technology labs. The minimum cutoff for the ICAR AIEEA 2023 for BSc at the Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University is 50% for General/OBC/UPS/EWS category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates.  To be eligible for the ICAR AIEEA 2023, candidates must pass the 10+2 board exam or equivalent exams with at least 50% marks. The cutoff for the ICAR AIEEA exam is 300+.  The selection for B.Sc. depends on the marks obtained in the entrance test, interview, and counseling.

The minimum cutoff for the ICAR AIEEA 2023 exam is 50% for candidates in the General/OBC/UPS/EWS category. Candidates in the SC/ST/PWD/Transgender category must score at least 40%.  To be eligible to appear for the ICAR AIEEA 2023 exam, candidates must pass the 10+2 board exam or equivalent exams with at least 50% marks.  Applicants from the General, UPS, and SC/ST/PwD categories must score to participate in the ICAR AIEEA 2023 counseling.  The Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) admission requirements for 2023 are:  10+2: 45-50%Exams: KEAM / ICAR AIEEA
