At this score, you can opt for the NITs in other branches as this college is not as good as the NITs that you can get at this score.

First of all I wants to clear you that the taking seat in any course in any college based on admissions allocated to the seats vacant proportion . So, after calculating all this the cutoffs are get decrease when all the seats are filled up. But, as we have something to say in usual from the last trends that for the CSE branch in KIIT you must have secured the rank at least under 5k and then further on it depends the quota ( if applicable) else you can go for IT branch which is also a good option to make , a nice placement is seen there in this branch. Chances are that you can get it at 10k rank.

Yes, KIIT is a good institution to join and provides a good overall environment to the students, As you might have heard, more than 100 times about 100% placements. So, yes many companies visit KIIT campus during the placement season. To bag one/more offer totally depends on your academic backgrounds, semester grades and above all on your level of confidence. List down companies that you want to target and prepare accordingly. Prepare for written test, practice mock GD and interviews.

All the colleges are very reputed and government recognized. You can go for any college, check your location and other facilities you want like Campus life, Amenities etc. If you are able to crack IPU CET and get top colleges like VIPS, Maharaja agrasen etc., Then grab that opportunity.
Good Luck.
