Well, there is no particular information about the branch but as I know, the number of students placed in core companies are very less. Most of them are placed in IT companies whose package is around 3.5 LPA. Students placed in core companies get around 3-4 LPA.

Hello Aditya,
You can prefer KIIT university to VIT Amaravathi and Bhopal campuses as, they are new campuses an there is no clear information regarding their information and placements.
So, KIIT University will be a better choice. If you get Chennai and Vellore campuses, then go for it.

Normally speaking if the fees at both courses is same your college will allow shift. If it's question of you leaving present college and joining another college then it's very very tough. Of course not impossible.
