Somehow, it is true. My relatives who got very poor percentages in class 12th (56%-58%), got a very good placement and one of them whom I know is doing a job in a good company (don't know the company names and all that stuff). Every time I hear positive words from my parents in regards to KIIT.
I also got a seat in KIIT University after I participated in the counselling with a rank of 28233. I know it's not a good rank though but I got "Electronics and control system Engineering".

To start with, I presume that you believe in KIIT being a good University.
From a parent's perspective, I think if you talk about studies, placements and overall growth, KIIT offer them all.
KIIT has a lot of options to grow as an individual and to be the one who can contribute to her/his skills to the world. I as a CSE grad from the university firmly believe in that.
To start with, you get an ample opportunity to learn and practically understand the subjects you choose for your studies. The facilities and faculties are really worth trying.

Both are good universities. It depends on your rank as if your rank is less in SRMJEEE and you don't get a good campus then you must try for KIIT University. Both have good faculty and placement assistance.
