KSOM allows you to apply through all National Tests such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, XAT of academic year 2016-17. The only criteria to apply is you should have valid score card and then to get admission you have to go through process of GD/PI. The GD/PI will be the most vital process to qualify the college admission and be a part of KSOM.

Hi,
KSOM will accept CAT, XAT, CMAT or MAT for the admission in MBA prorgram. There is no specific weightage given to any score. Those who qualify the test and interview, they will get the admission.
All the best.

Sorry for replying late. But MBA specialization totally depends on your interested domain area. There are more specific specialization left out except marketing and finance such as IT, operations, and human resources. As you start your course of MBA, the 1st year subjects will directly incline your interest to one and you will get ample of time to decide the best one for you. Moreover like KSOM, there are more colleges which provide you an option of dual specialization choice.

Yes, for any student pursuing MBA from KIIT its much more beneficial to be a hosteler. As we have most of the classes till late in the evening including some assignments and project works which needs to be processed late working nights. Therefore the college authorities provide this residential campus for us. Moreover as you are a localite, you can move to your home as required or on holidays with due permission from college authority.
Answering to your next question i would like to answer as i get all the details about it. Hope you understand.

Hey Monalisha,To be very frank 12th grades are not up to the mark. Its difficult to get into colleges and even if you get admission it will be a big problem during placements. The cut offs are usually 60 and above for almost all good companies.
