Candidates appearing for the KIITEE counselling must submit a demand draft of INR 75,000, which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (non-refundable), payable at Bhubaneswar, in favor of KIIT. The KIITEE B.Tech exam is conducted online and the question paper will be available in English language. It is a computer-based test with a time duration of three hours. For B.Tech courses, the KIITEE question paper will contain Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (40 questions), and Mathematics (40 questions). Candidates appearing for the examination must finish their test within the allotted time. The dates for the KIITEE 2025 exam will be announced soon on the official website.

The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2023 or 2024 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
