While King’s college London specializes in Humanities, Law programs, and Literature programs, UCL is well renowned for their Architecture and Planning courses. It is much harder to get into UCL than King’s College London because of the selection process that they follow. As a part of KCL application process, Indian students are required to take an English proficiency test. London is considered one of the most expensive cities to live at, and the King’s College London is located in central London near River Thames which makes it even more costly. It is a quite selective School, as the King’s College acceptance rate stands at 11.1% for the year 2024 meaning, out of every 100 applicants, only 11 were rolled out an offer letter. A score of 85 in TOEFL may not meet the minimum requirements for King's College London. King's College London requires a minimum TOEFL score of 93 for successful admission. Apart from TOEFL, King's College London accepts IELTS with a score of 7.5 and PTE with a score of 75 as other English proficiency tests for admission.
