Yes, KMC follows the CBCS in BSc curriculum. Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as part of National Policy was introduced by UGC in the VISTAS from the academic year 2015-201 across the country. CBCS has become the official framework for all the undergraduate courses including the BSc programme. This course framework allows students to choose courses per CBCS subject disciplines comprising core, elective/minor, and skill based courses.

No, there is no offline method of application for BSc at Kirori Mal College. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG exam. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG for admission to Kirori Mal College and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Both are the renowned institute for B.A Hons. the Kirori mal college is well reputed and one of the best college for B.A Hons as compared to shyam lal college but the shyam lal college is affordable in term fees. Both institute offers B.A hons with Broad specializations.

Both are good colleges for B.Sc both are affiliated with Delhi University.Both have well-maintained infrastructure. Shyam Lal College is more affordable than Kirori Mal College in terms of fees.However the placement is average for Shyam lal College as compared to Kirori Mal College.
