The main criterion for B.E./B.Tech courses in KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur, is scores through MHT CET or JEE Main. Eligibility consists of having 10+2 qualifications with core subjects including physics, chemistry, and mathematics. A choice is done with a report of scores from the counselling stage, after merit-wise seats are allocated. For candidates from outside Maharashtra, JEE scores are also valid. They are also required to satisfy eligibility requirements as determined by the respective college and DTE, Maharashtra such as verification of documents and fee for getting admission.

You have to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects to get eligible for the B.E./B.Tech programs in KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur. For the open category, you need an aggregate of at least 45% and for the reserved category, you must get at least 40%. You have to pass one of MHT CET or JEE Main, or both. For the Maharashtra student, MHT CET is compulsorily required. Specific marks requirements may differ according to the selected B.Tech course.

In addition, the course lasts for around four years. Candidates must pass the entrance tests in order to be considered for BTech admission at K J Somaiya College of Engineering. For persuading B.Tech at COER Roorkee, Candidate need to appear JEE MAINS exam and get at least 50 percentile in that as the closing rank is near about 5,00,000. Thus for 50 percentile, they need 31-40 marks out of 300. However, for Computer Science they need 70 percentile, i.e 41-50 marks out of 300. Additionally, candidates must have at least 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology.

In order to get admission to the BTech course at Poornima College of Engineering the student needs to qualify for the last exam. However, the student also has to clear JEE Main 2023 as per REAP-2023. For a full-time BTech course, the student needs to pass Class 12 with a 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Physics, and Chemistry and Mathematics for Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The eligibility criteria for BTech Lateral Entry is a passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of applicants belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are drained.
