The College of Engineering Roorkee offers 17 courses and has a Shiksha rating of 3.9. It has a gym facility. On the other hand, Quantum School of Technology, Quantum University offers 29 courses with a Shiksha rating of 3.6 but does not have a gym. The choice depends on your preferred course and whether having a gym facility is important to you. Please do some personal research before admission. Both Thadomal Shahani Engineering College Mumbai and Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering are very good and both of them have very good ratings by their students. But the first college has only two courses and on the other hand, the college has thirteen courses. Thadomal has more seats compared to Fr. Conceicao. But facilities like Hostel, Sports Complex, Gym, Hospital / Medical Facilities, and Wi-Fi Campus are not available at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College. The admissions in College of Engineering Roorkee are done through counseling and seat allotment procedure of all the GATE qualified applicants. The applicants who have not qualified GATE will have to appear for the College entrance Test/Counselling. Apart from the Gate criteria, the Candidates who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subject and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in second year.

COER will provide you all the opportunity to make your future bright in terms of academic, placement, infrastructure, management and in other curriculum also. COER has a very good rank in terms of best academics and placements by the Times of India. Approximately 95% Students are placed. Average package from college is 3.5 to 5 lacs. The institute is fully equipped with all the instruments in their respective department labs. There is siemens lab which gives a great platform for the students. Here you can find a very friendly environment between students and faculty members of all the departments.

The placement cell is active and helpful. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., visit the college. Top roles offered were of Software Engineer, Software Developer, Data Analysis, etc. The top recruiter is Wipro. The placement cell helps students to get the best opportunities. The highest package is from CSE department only.

The placements in BTech CSE department are better. The average package is around 3.30 Lacs per annum. Many companies have visited the institute and recruited its students. This includes companies like Infosys, Wipro, HSBC, Deloitte, Vivo and many other companies. The average package for BTech ECE is comparitively low around 2 Lacs per annum.

The placements are good at COER - Roorkee. Approximately 70% to 80% of the students get placed. The lowest package is INR 2 LPA and the highest package in this year is INR 13 LPA. Approximately 45% students got internship through off campus. Top packages were from CSE department. Top roles offered were of Software Engineer, Software Developer, Data Analysis, etc.
