During the B.E./B.Tech application in KJ's Educational Institute they demand the following documents, original 10+2 mark sheet having 50% marks in PCM, a copy of JEE Main or MHT CET score card, caste certificate, if applicable within a period of 6months validity, and non-creamy layer certificate if the candidate belongs to the OBC category. Actually the process of the application of KJ Educational Institute as follows; First, candidates must create an account with the specific institute and complete an application form on the institute's official website normally available between February – March of each year. The application fee is Rs 1000/ for General Category candidates and Rs 500/ for SC/ ST/ PWD/ EX tenure category candidates. The dropout cutoff list is different for each branch at KJ's Educational Institute Based upon the category of admissions.The general round MHT CET cutoff for year 2022-23 was 93-95 for computer Science and engineering, while mechanical engineering students got 87-90 percentile rank and electrical engineering students got 83-86 percentile rank. For the reserved category students, cutoff of 78-82 percentile was observed for computer Science and engineering candidates, 73-77 percentile for mechanical engineering candidates and 69-72 percentile for electrical engineering candidates.

The overall merit of MHT CET for general category students for 2022-23 academic year for B.Tech course in Various disciplines are as follows Computer Science & Engineering– 93.13, Mechanical – 87.45 and Electrical Engineering 83.67 percentile. Admission of the candidates to KJ's Educational Institute can be through MHT CET and JEE MAIN. Applicants, who have written the MHT CET can register for admission through the CAP conducted by the state common entrance test cell. However, students who have written the JEE main can also apply for the institute directly and get admission. Also, the management quota is also available along with 30% quota for it, so students seeking admission in the institute can avail it. B.E./B.Tech programme seats: Total Intake of 600 seats are proposed.

The important dates for MHT CET registration and examination for admission to KJ's Educational Institute B.E. / B.Tech programme are as follows: the MHT CET 2025 registration is expected to begin in January 2025 and end in March 2025, though May 2025 can be done with a late fee of Rs 500 only. The MHT CET 2025 exam for engineering will begin from April 19 to 27, 2025 and the admit card will be released in April 2025. The outcome of this is expected to be released in June of the year 2025.

It has not mentioned about the admission date of KJ's Educational Institute but according to the norms of admission the admission for engineering colleges generally starts in the months of April to July for the next academic session. Nevertheless, potential students should verify the information on this site or/and contact an institute to get the updated information concerning the admission, which might include dates, requirements, etc. Admission to the engineering programs also requires the candidate to take either JEE Main Exam or COMEDK or BITSAT and some universities also recognize the scores of the board exams.

Currently the institute has only one scholarship based on merit as the first year students who have scored above 90% in the 10+2 examination are given 50% waiver on their tuition fees.
