No, the KMAT Kerala exam will be conducted only in single shift. The exam has always been conducted in one shift on a single day. KMAT Kerala exam pattern has not changed much since past few years. KMAT Kerala exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. The exam is however, conducted twice in a year. The first session exam was conducted on March 3, 2024. The second session exam will likely be conducted in the month of August 2024.

The KMAT Kerala exam was traditionally conducted in the paper-based test mode or offline mode. But over the years, the mode of examination changed. The KMAT Kerala exam is now being conducted in the computer-based test mode or online mode. Candidates who wish to appear for the KMAT Kerala exam have to visit the allotted KMAT Kerala exam centre to take the exam. The students are required to marks the answers on the computer screen. There are only multiple-choice questions and the students have to select the correct answer.

Yes, the KMAT Kerala exam has negative marking. There are four sections in the KMAT Kerala exam, and each section carries about 40-50 multiple-chocie questions (MCQs). Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. One mark will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect answer marked by the candidate. There are a total of 180 questions in the KMAT Kerala question paper and the total marks is 720.

KMAT Kerala marking scheme is straightforward. If the candidates can recall their attempts or have the answer key with them then they can calculate their KMAT Kerala raw score by adding and subtracting scores as per correct and incorrect attempts. KMAT Kerala conducted in offline mode I.e. pen-paper mode. Candidates will have to attempt 180 questions in the time duration of 3 hours. The question paper would be objective type (Multiple Choice Questions). KMAT would test the basic understanding of syllabus mentioned. The questions for this exam is based on English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge and Contemporary Scenario. 4 marks is allotted for every correct answer and there is no negative marking for this test.
