On the KMAT Kerala exam day, candidates have to follow certain guidelines which include reaching on time, cooperating with the exam centre staff, following instructions of the test invigilator and following the test navigation for solving the KMAT Kerala questions. Institutes or universities may seek a copy of admit card at the time of admission. The test takers must also carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam hall. The KMAT Kerala admit card is one of the most important documents which is to be carried to the exam hall. The KMAT Kerala admit card will be treated as the entry ticket to the centre.  To ensure that a candidate doesn't use proxy candidate for taking the exam, admit card and original photo ID is checked at the exam centre. 

Any electronic item including a watch, mobile phone, ipad, calculator, smartwatch, etc. is not allowed inside the KMAT Kerala examination centre. Any candidate found carrying such an item inside the examination hall will be disqualified. Apart from electronic items, stationary other than a blue/black ball point pen, metal accessories and eatables are also not allowed. Caps and headgear, goggles, hoodies, etc. are also not allowed inside the KMAT Kerala test centre. Any candidate found carrying any such item or pieces of paper will be disqualified from the exam. Candidates must not carry bags and other valuables, as KMAT Kerala exam centres do not have any provision of bag deposit.

No, candidates cannot change the exam centre after the KMAT Kerala admit card has been issued. Applicants cannot take the exam at any other centre other than the one mentioned in their admit card, either. So they must make an informed decision at time of selecting their KMAT test city in the KMAT Kerala application form. They should select only those cities where they can make arrangement of stay on the KMAT Kerala exam day. Candidates should choose their home city or city of current residence as the first test city. The examination authorities try to allot the test centre to a candidate as per their first preference. However, sometimes if there are not enough number of applicants for a city, the centre may be cancelled there and candidates are allotted a test centre in the next city of preference. If at a particular exam centre in a city has already been filled with candidates, then the remaining students are allotted a test city in the next city of preference.

The KMAT Kerala application fee can be paid through two modes:Online Paymente-ChallanOnline Payment: Candidates who have an Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card can pay the KMAT Kerala application fee online. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Pay application Fee’ tab at the top turned green and can proceed to uploading of photograph and signature. If the payment transaction was unsuccessful, a message to that effect will be displayed on the screen and the candidate would be guided back to the homepage. On the other hand, if the candidate fails to receive the final confirmation (success or failure) message and is uncertain about the outcome of the transaction due to communication failure or otherwise, he/she can re-login to the home page and inspect the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top to see if it’s green or not. If it has not turned green, the payment has not succeeded and the candidate may try front line payment afresh or resort to the e-Challan payment mode. If the candidate’s account is debited for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be reverted to his/her account within five working days.e-Challan Payment (Post Office): If the mode of payment selected is e-Challan, the applicant needs to take printout of eChallan by clicking the link ‘Print e-Challan’. Payment can be made in cash at any of the Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala. The e-Challan should be handed over to post office counter along with the required cash. The post office’s official will make necessary entries both in their online portal and e-Challan form. The counter foil of the e-Challan must be collected back from the post office official. It must be ensured that the official has recorded the Transaction ID pertaining to the payment on the counter foil of the e-Challan and put the office stamp and his/her initials at the designated places on the counterfoil. If the payment was successful, the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab in the candidate’s home page turns green. Candidates are advised to login to the website and examine the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab to make sure that the fee payment status has been updated by the post office official. If the payment tab has not turned green, the candidate should immediately contact the post officeconcerned and get the payment status updated.

The KMAT Kerala exam is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) on behalf of the Kerala Government. CEE is responsible for organizing the exam, setting the exam pattern, conducting the test, and releasing the results. They are also involved in coordinating the admission process based on the KMAT Kerala scores for various management programs offered by participating institutes in the state of Kerala. The exam is a gateway for admissions to various management schools across the state of Kerala.CEE also conducts various other entrance exams also for admission to various universities and institutes in the state of Kerala such as Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical exam (KEAM) which is conducted for admission to engineering courses at various colleges in Kerela that are approved by the Central and State Regulatory Bodies. CEE also conducts entrance exams for courses such as BTech, BArch, BPharma, MSc, LLB, LLM, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, PGA, PGM, etc. 

The selection procedure through KMAT Kerala basically includes the following steps:KMAT Kerala exam: The first stage is the KMAT Kerala exam itself. It is a computer-based test that assesses a candidate's aptitude and proficiency in areas such as Quantitative Aptitude (QA), General Knowledge (GK), Logical Reasoning (LR) and English Usage and Reading Comprehension (VARC). The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).KMAT Kerala results: After the exam is conducted, the exam conducting authority releases the KMAT Kerala results in the form of scorecards on the official website which indicates candidate's overall and sectional scores.KMAT Kerala cutoff: Participating institutes set their own cut-off marks based on the KMAT Kerala scores. Candidates who meet or exceed the cut-off marks are eligible for the subsequent selection rounds.GD-PI: Shortlisted candidates are then called for the further selection process which includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The candidates are assesed on communication skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills and suitablity for the management programme. Final merit list: After the GD-PI round, the participating institutes release a final merit list which indicates the names of the candidates who have been selected for admissions.
