Hi, KMAT eligibility criteria is based on UGC guidelines:
Candidates need to have Bachelors degree / Masters degree from any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering / Technology or equivalent
Atleast 50% aggregate marks; 40% for SC/ST candidate
Candidates will then be shortlisted on the basis on their performance in KMAT. The scorecards of the candidates will be sent to the colleges
The selected candidates who have qualified in KMAT need to report to their respective college to secure admissions. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/exams/kmat.

After the declaration of result, the selection procedure of KMAT 2018 will take place for those test takers who have scored marks as per the cut-off. The KMAT 2018 selection procedure is conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) for admission to postgraduate management courses across the top B-schools of Karnataka and Bangalore. The exam date of KMAT exam was 5th August 2018, which is over. This exam is conducted only once a year, so, the next tentative date may be in next year August or July.

Admission is done through counselling based on the rank/ score obtained in Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET), conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority.
For Management quota, admission is based on score/percentile in CMAT/MAT/CAT/XAT/KMAT/PGCETor any other entrance test recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.
